Sciatica can also be a major factor in lower back pain. The inflammation of the sciatic nerve can cause shooting pain through the buttocks and into the leg. This can be remedied with yoga type stretches that help relieve pressure on the nerve. Pinched nerve relief doesn't have to control your life.

Could be the pillow or the mattress. Could also be stress, but most likely you're pulling some muscles at night.
You can do some exercises to strengthen back and neck muscles or take a muscle relaxant.

You should check with somone about the height of the shoe you wear....i cant remember but there is something about a one inch heal on both mens and womens shoes/boots that is good for your back and flats and high heals are not.....if i remember correctly it has to do with releaving pressure on the lower back

Go to an Asian Market, they have stuff like "Tiger Balm" and it comes in liquid or paste.

I am half Asian, and I do not like taking pills, unless I have no other choice. There are some stores that specialize in Chinese Herbs and Medicine.

Try acupuncture, if you already haven't. It helped with my migraines and lower back pains when they were severe.

i have the same problem!
when my back is spazzing, i have trouble moving and it feels like a million pounds just came down on your back.
i go to physical therapy every day, and i must say it helps a lot.

i am getting an MRI and a bone scan soon.
that might be something to look into.

When you work out do you have a trainer with you? Is this person checking out what you are doing? Or are you doing it at home, the workout? Maybe you are doing it wrong, could be that you are holding you head in the wrong position, even breathing the wrong way can cause pain. Be careful with the way you position yourself when doing these exercises. Be conscious of your posture and breathing. Before you start working out do you warm up? do you stretch those neck muscles?
If it continues seek medical attention.
Good luck and feel better ^i^♥♥

Really watch your posture, especially when holding you child. And if you carry you baby on one hip more than the other, try alternating hips. You should probably get a massage from a licensed massage therapist. I think you muscle is being "overworked" and is getting real tight. Good luck.
